Cricket in the bed

Cricket in Es bed
In case you didn't know...I am a city girl living in the country.
So - a cricket in my daughter's bed is so not cool.
It is especially even less cool when it happens to be on the one night my husband is hanging with his friends.
i.e. not here to rescue me from said cricket

Good thing my four year old has no such qualms and had a grand old time catching that cricket in a cup and carrying him outside.  Go me for allowing her think that this was a really awesome responsibility that I was letting her do.  "Mommy let me, let me catch him..." Exactly my dear, exactly...

If you think this is silly don't even get me started on how I feel about spiders.

Hahaha! I'd advise never coming over here then, we have quite the assortment of creepy crawlies :o)

Haha! Totally get it! I'm a city girl who was forcibly transplanted. When we first moved to a small village I used to email friends to complain that I could hear cows and sheep from my garden.

I can handle the spiders but I'm with you on the crickets. I think it's that I don't know where they're going to jump next. And it wasn't any help to find out that my (now college-age)son doesn't do bugs or spiders either. Sigh.

I will admit I have a slight fear of crickets. I couldn't tell you why. I'm not find of any bugs but they are the worst (maybe because thy can jump long distances??). Glad you had someone around to help out ;)

That's so funny! I'm not a huge fan of crickets, either. I went to clean my boys' room one day and they made sure that I knew NOT to kill their "pet" spider that had made a web in the corner. Whatever you say, boys...

The only good spider is a dead spider! But Crickets are fun and they sing...All night if you live in the country, not so quiet is it! But I here you sister!

I detest spiders... can't stand how fast they move! Our 1st cat used to an expert cricket hunter but we don't seem to have them here.
