Okay...I know things have been a bit boring over here lately...as in NONEXISTENT. Trust me, no one misses my making time more than me! But I promise that as usual things are brewing in my MRL brain nevertheless. Specifically I have been a bit bummed because while stuck on my next border of Marcelle Medallion I realized I am running out of my absolute favorite, would die for, or at least give a leg for (clearly I can't give an arm because how would I sew then?) fabric collection.
Seriously. Would seriously consider taking a hit on a limb for this fabric.
Now don't get all judgey and make a face...you know there is some fabric collection that you too would give a kidney for...don't deny it! I've heard plenty of "oh but there is so much fabric to choose from why would you choose just one to lust over"...uh hunh...if you are one of those people than your dream fabric line hasn't been created yet. So there.
For those of us in reality I have decided that maybe, just maybe, my favorite fabric is out there in someone else's stash just waiting to be used. Holy &#$! the idea makes me breathless!
With that in mind (crap I can barely imagine it) I am hosting the Favorite Fabric Swap and Link Up. This will be similar to
Lucy's Fugly Fabric Party except instead of posting what you'd like to give away you are going to post what you are looking for...
FAVORITE FABRIC SWAP RULES
1) Determine your favorite fabric. The One! Is there something you have just really been looking for everywhere? What is it?
2) Post It. Write a Blog Post about the favorite fabric you are seeking.
3) Link It. Come back HERE to link up to the linky party. Title your linky by the name of the fabric you are seeking.
4) Help someone in lust. Look at the other links and see if there is a fabric line that you have in your stash that you know could be appreciated/loved/worshipped by someone else. If you haven't used it by now are you ever going to? Do the right thing and contact that person and see if they own something you'd be willing to swap their favorite fabric for.
5) Cross your fingers! Hope someone contacts you about swapping your favorite fabric!
