Rainbow Pillow

Untitled
Miss E decided that she MUST have a pillow to sleep on during nap time at school.  This from the child who NEVER takes a nap.  I had been brainstorming with her teachers as to how to entertain her while the other children nap so that she stops waking them all up and was willing to try anything.
As a test she brought in her Sweet Dream Pillow one day and she actually fell asleep = miracle.  It was such a success that her teachers begged me to make one for school...  No surprise she requested something "rainbow colored" and luckily I had leftover charms from when I made her Rainbow Quilt!

I even decided to sew the seam by machine on the exterior in order to ensure that it is extra ready for rough schoolday action.  Miss E took a pause while running around with her birthday streamers to stuff the pillow and "give it a test run"...

Then, of course, it was back to running...

Love the pillow. I also got a little chuckle because we have the same name. The only difference is I'm Rebekah Lynne :)

Just a thought - what about letting her listen to a cd on headphones at naptime? As an ADD-type person, I never liked the napping part, either!
