WNYMQG [WIP Wednesday]

WNYMQG NARROW2

This is my current Work In Progress!  I decided that I was never going to find like minded quilters out there unless I opened my big mouth and gave a BIG SHOUT.  So, here it is!

If any of you know any Modern Quilters in the Western New York region please send them my way.  I started a Facebook Page and I've already had a few people contact me.  I am so excited!

I guess being a big mouth has its pluses.  ;)

Other than that I have been working on lots of different projects but all secret ones.  I know, annoying, I have become one of those people.  Ew.  But, my goal this week is to mail those projects out so I can finally reveal them online.

Here is one jewelry project I am working on for a very special Bride.  Ignore the hair, I am talking about the earrings!  I'll be finishing up those in the coming days.  See Miss O's hand?  She is quite the helper...helping like a barnacle helps a boat that is!

Also, more importantly, the Mr. and I have been looking for a house.  What?  I know.  Crazy.  When we left college to live near Denver, then DC, and then NYC we scoffed at the idea of leaving the city and living in suburbia.  Ha.  Amazing what three children can do to change your perspective on life.  Who knew a year ago when we left Brooklyn that we'd seriously be "settling down" and looking to plant our roots by buying a house.  S%^!  But, we really do love it here and I can't imagine us leaving.    Anyway, for you homeowners out there you can only imagine the time sucker this has been especially while juggling three small ones.  But, we are making headway.  Keep your fingers crossed!

Linking up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced!  Go check out the goods getting on out there...

Your guild sounds great, but unfortunately I'm out near Albany. Used to live in and around Buffalo though, and still miss the food there.
