Joy, for the Queen is ready to bind!
My free motion loops are far from perfect...and yet I am thrilled with the way it came out. I really wish you could feel this, it seriously feels delicious to touch! And, I am mad proud of myself for taking the risk to FMQ on such a beautiful piece. After all, the only way to learn is to Do!
Now it is time to bind...
The voile backing, Anna Maria Horner Coreopsis, is to die for. So glad this quilt is for me...
Watch this space for the finish!

WHOOP WHOOP!! Gorgeous and well done you for the FMQ. I am starting to get very jealous of you and your new friend. x
I LOVE this! I know how easy it is to put stuff for yourself to the back burner so I'm so glad you finished this! The loops look great and that voile back is amazing! Was it hard to work with for a back though being so slippery?
It is looking DIVINE! I love the glimpses of fabrics in your photos. I found myself thinking "Oooh - I like that fabric".
This looks so fabulous! Your fmq is great, too! And is there a small child being used as a prop in that last photo?
It looks wonderful!!!
Beautiful! You will love snuggling it!
We quilters tend to be generous in making/giving but not always in making/keeping. I love that you made yourself a lovely quilt. You're inspiring me to finally do the same!
Shut up! It's gorgeous!! I love that we may our twinny AMH Field Study Coreopsolis quilts :)
Coreopsis even...the voile is so amazing isn't it?
It is gorgeous!
