For someone suffering from a 72hr stomach virus I was able to get a ridiculous amount of sewing done this Friday night. Granted I feel even more nauseated and dizzy today after a night of no sleep [Miss V fell victim to the virus last night, nothing like a vomiting 2 year old to make you appreciate parenthood...] but looking back on what I was able to accomplish it was worth it! I am even closer to finishing this Rainbow Quilt for Miss E and I also finished. Hoping to have it done completely for Leanne's 2013 FAL link up in April.
The quilting consists of straight vertical white lines on the bleached muslin and a turquoise criss crossing blue thread on the square of color. I wanted to take more hanging close ups but apparently the bug is moving quickly as while holding this the Mr. said he needed to put it down because he was feeling dizzy.
It is going to be a long weekend in the MRL household.
Hope you are all feeling well...

Love the quilting! Hope you all feel better very soon x
Oh bless, poor Mr! Hope everyone is on the mend soon. The quilt is lovely though and great quilting.
Sorry to hear that you're household is suffering! Blah!! We have so far missed it this year.. well, we did have a really mild case that came and went pretty fast. Still keeping all fingers and toes crossed and lecturing A every morning about not touching his face while he's at KG. The quilt is looking amazing. I love the turquoise quilting in the rainbow square! Feel better soon!
p.s. Come and enter my giveaway if you get a free second this weekend. :)
